Before the wedding, I tried to get a good picture of Noah and Brayden in their little matching outfits. As you can see, it didn't exactly work all that well...

Trip to Iowa

Last weekend, we went to Iowa for Dan's sister Christie's wedding. We had a great time and it was a very nice wedding. Here are some pictures from our trip. I will be back later with pics from the actual wedding. Enjoy!

Procrastination

So, I am here posting because I'd rather play on the computer than pack. Ugh, I hate packing. I'm soooo excited for Noah to see his grandparents...but I'm so not excited about the drive. And I am swamped at work, so I'm probably going to have to do work this weekend too...yuck! Good news, though...I checked the weather forecast and Saturday in IA looks pretty nice. Cold, but not snowy. That means I should be able to get my 9-miler in before the wedding. Excellent! Then I can go have fun guilt free for the rest of the day. It should be a fun time and we are looking forward to seeing everyone!

Noah and Mom's Day of Fun

Noah and I had today off (Yeah for school holidays!). So, we went to a bounce house this morning and then to Chik-Fil-A for lunch. After a quick nap, we spent the rest of the day at the park because it was 61 degrees today! Awesome! It was so nice to have a day that was just Noah and I (Dan had to work unfortunately or it could have been a fun family day). It was a nice preview of what this summer will be like. Also, I was exhausted at the end of the day because Noah is such a wild child. I certainly won't be bored this summer. I'd better get him enrolled in some classes soon. We're definitely doing swimming lessons and then maybe a gymnastics or yoga class. I have searched and searched for a soccer league for 3 year olds near Castle Rock, but I can't find one. Most places start at 4 around here, or I would get him into that. Nothing cuter than toddler soccer!!!
